**Cummins Graduate Program Overview**

The Cummins Graduate Program is a comprehensive development program designed to equip recent engineering graduates with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the industry. As a Graduate Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that covers a wide range of engineering disciplines, from diesel engines and generators to innovative technologies like fuel cells, batteries, and hydrogen combustion.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Apply basic knowledge of engineering theories and practices in the areas of specification, design, development, evaluation, release, validation, and maintenance of new and current products/subsystems throughout the product life cycle.
  • Work through business processes for product introduction or use discipline-specific specialized tools to support and enable high-quality decision making.
  • Obtain business inputs to deliver information and recommendations that lead to successful project decisions.
  • Make decisions that progress projects forward without sacrificing project quality expectations through the application of academic knowledge and experience.

**Requirements**

  • Relevant Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Mechanical design, and Material) completed in the 2 years preceding the start date for the Graduate role.
  • Excellent communication, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Troubleshooting and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, and consistently driving for and achieving results, even under tough circumstances.

**Additional Requirements**

  • Understanding and awareness of Engineering problem-solving tools and processes (FTA, FMEA, 8D's, 7Steps, SixSigma, 5Why's).
  • The ability to interpret Technical Drawings (GD&T) AutoCAD, CREO, Inventor etc.
  • Experience or exposure in project/product implementation.
