At BGIS, we're seeking an exceptional Project Coordinator to join our Adelaide team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to delivery.


About the Role:



  • Drive project success by ensuring works and services meet specified time, quality, and budget requirements.
  • Actively manage and lead employees and subcontractors, fostering exceptional service and teamwork.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and represent BGIS with a high level of professionalism.
  • Ensure full compliance with contract obligations, BGIS policies, and OHS&E standards.
  • Monitor financial aspects of projects, including budget, forecasting, invoicing, and minimizing costs during Defect Liability Periods.

Your Key Accountabilities:



  • Manage budgets, approve invoices, and maintain project cash flow.
  • Operations: Oversee all stages of project delivery, from scope definition to handover, while ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Build positive client relationships, drive continuous improvement, and align with changing project needs.
  • Foster a positive and cohesive work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and open communication.

What You'll Bring:



  • Experience in project delivery or Capex programs with strong contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of QA, OH&S, and environmental management systems.
  • Flexibility and innovative thinking in adapting to changes and solving challenges.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications:



  • Essential: Certificate IV in OHS or relevant experience, and Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Trade Certificate in relevant discipline such as drafting, building and construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC mechanic, mechanical engineering technician; or Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline such as Architecture, Building/Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or Quantity Surveying.

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively to ensure seamless project delivery. The salary for this role is estimated to be between $95,000 and $115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
