We are seeking an experienced Community Development Manager to play a key role in our organization's efforts to build strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and other organizations.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective community partnerships and programs that align with our organization's strategy and goals.

  • Develop multi-year strategic plans and annual plans for each partnership aligned to our Community Strategy
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with individual partnerships, including negotiating contracts, ongoing management, and maximizing associated assets and benefits
  • Work with our Retail, Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams to develop and deliver marketing and communications plans that support our community strategy and enhance our brand and reputation
  • Collaborate with partners to deliver measurable social impact for communities and partners
  • Develop and deliver world-class enterprise sponsorship initiatives to enhance our brand, reputation, and market profile and deliver on our enterprise strategy
About You

You have a passion for creating a positive impact on the lives of Australians, particularly those who are disadvantaged. You are a skilled communications, marketing, or community engagement specialist with experience in building strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally.

We are looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years of experience in sponsorship and partnership management
  • A proven track record of delivering, managing, and leveraging partnerships across large and complex organizations
  • Excellent community partnership strategy planning and development experience
  • Strong people management skills and experience in financial management of P&L and Budgets
  • Experience navigating, collaborating, and influencing stakeholders within a large matrix organization
  • Highly developed commercial and relationship management skills
  • Ability to adapt to organizational change, prioritize workload, and problem-solve
  • Highly developed communication and writing skills
