Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Services Team Lead to join our team in Canberra, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the station coordinator in liaison with ground handling agents and Qatar Airways teams.
  • Supervise airport teams to ensure on-time flight closure and overall performance.
  • Plan efficient duty allocations of manpower during duty periods for Customer Service Agents.
  • Support Airport Services Duty Officer in case of flight disruptions and passenger-related issues.
  • Perform aircraft turnaround checks to ensure safe operation of QR ground ramp product.
  • Generate reports and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Be the primary contact for agents requiring assistance.

Requirements:

  • Relevant college or university qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in airline or ground handling operations at supervisory level.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language.
  • Knowledge of Weight and Balance, Ramp handling, and Dangerous Goods Regulations.
  • Able to perform duties under pressure while maintaining high customer service standards.
  • Good understanding of conditions of carriage, International Civil Aviation Safety procedures.
  • Experience in areas such as Passenger Services, Baggage Services, Ground Operations, and Ramp handling.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Excellent customer focus and service delivery.
