About the Role
As a skilled Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on heavy mining equipment at various sites in the Bowen Basin. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of FMS Group.
- You will work with a range of equipment including HME Workshops, Liebherr, Komatsu & Cat Trucks, Dozers, Graders, Diggers, Excavators & Drills.
- Competitive wages are paid weekly, and you will also receive 12% Superannuation on all hours worked.
- A DIDO Company Vehicle is supplied, and onsite meals and accommodation are provided.
What You Will Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Experience working on heavy machinery
- Certificate of Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to liaise with management and clients
- An uncompromising attitude to safety
