Education Expert for Learner Support

As a Casual Teacher at Chisholm Institute, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to learners. Your primary responsibility will be to provide professional teaching and vocational expertise, ensuring excellent outcomes for learners, employers, and communities.
Focusing on learner support, teaching delivery, and learning assessment, your key accountabilities include:
- Developing and delivering planned teaching sessions that reflect effective engagement strategies for learners;
- Liaising with stakeholders such as employers, schools, and other education providers to explore pathway options for learners;
- Maintaining professional development by ensuring educational currency and excellence;
- Implementing the Institute's Educational Excellence Framework across all teaching and learning practice;
About You
To succeed in this role, you must have relevant tertiary qualifications, including:
- Diploma in VET Practice or qualifications meeting RTO Standards;
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122);
- Vocational competence, currency, and ability to teach courses within your primary discipline area;
- Vocational qualifications at AQF level equivalent to the highest level of teaching in your discipline;
- Vocational currency demonstrated through work experience and related skills;
- Registration with relevant professional bodies/associations as required for your discipline.
Your strong understanding of contemporary approaches to education, teaching, and learning is crucial, along with your proven track record in designing and delivering engaging programs. You must also possess the ability to develop rapport with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds in a collaborative environment.
Estimated Salary Range: AU$ 80,000 - AU$ 110,000 per annum
