Frontend Architect at Valiant

Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+, CSS3, and HTML5 is a must, with a bonus if you have Vue experience. Experience with modern frontend frameworks and component-based architecture, as well as continuous integration / continuous delivery environments, is also highly valued.

As a Frontend Architect at Valiant, you will be responsible for managing multiple deliverables with a pragmatic approach and coordinating with teams across the organisation using your strong technical and communication skills. You will work in a small, fun team that can execute quickly and be involved in design and code reviews. Additionally, you will interact and integrate with backend systems and participate in the development of exciting new products.

Some of the key requirements for this role include:

• 5+ years of front-end web development experience
• Passion for creating beautiful experiences
• Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+, CSS3, and HTML5
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and component-based architecture
• Experience working in a continuous integration / continuous delivery environment
• Exposure to writing unit, integration and E2E tests using tools such as Jest, Vitest, Cypress or Playwright etc.
• Experience supporting production applications, ability to debug and fix issues quickly
• Experience with error tracking and performance monitoring software such as Sentry
• Strong written and verbal skills

At Valiant, we offer a collaborative fast-paced environment where rapid professional development is a priority. We also offer a competitive salary of around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
