Senior Insolvency Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Insolvency Accountant to join our team in Townsville. As a key member of our insolvency firm, you will be responsible for planning and controlling small to medium-sized jobs, as well as performing complex work on larger matters.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for professional growth and development, with a strong focus on mentorship and guidance from experienced colleagues. You will have the chance to develop and hone your management skills, guiding and supporting junior accountants within your team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Law or similar;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience across personal and corporate insolvency;
  • The drive to build a career in the specialised area of insolvency;
  • A high level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills;
  • Proven time management skills with exceptional attention to detail;
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of the Corporations Act, Bankruptcy Act, and relevant insolvency law.
