Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator

At a leading clinical research site in Brisbane, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to make a real impact in advancing clinical trials.

  • Nursing Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to trial participants ensuring their needs are met and they receive the best possible treatment.
  • Study Procedures: Perform phlebotomy, cannulation, and other study procedures per protocol with precision and accuracy.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate trial activities from start-up to close-out in line with GCP, TGA and NHMRC standards ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulations.
  • Patient Support: Support participant recruitment, consent and follow-up ensuring smooth trial execution.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, manage study materials and prepare for audits/monitoring maintaining confidentiality and security.
  • Liaison: Act as a key liaison for patients, investigators and sponsors ensuring effective communication and resolving any issues that may arise.

About You

  • Nursing Qualifications: Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' post-registration nursing experience.
  • Skills: Phlebotomy and cannulation skills essential along with strong patient care, organisation and communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Clinical Research Experience: Previous clinical research experience an advantage but not essential.
