Job Summary:

This role is a unique opportunity for an experienced care professional to take on the challenge of leading and supporting our residents.

As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring that each resident receives high-quality care that meets their individual needs, wishes, and goals.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience in aged care and be able to provide support and guidance to other team members. They will also be responsible for coordinating care needs across the home, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic and person-centered care to all residents.
  • Support the coordination of care needs of residents across the home.
  • Lead/supervise care on the shift, within designated wings or areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication), Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines), or Certificate III in Individual Support with willingness to undertake training to obtain required qualifications.
  • High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to understand and use information technology and programs.
