About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrotechnology Educator to join our team at Wodonga TAFE. As a key member of our Electrical and Electronic Systems Wing, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to Australian Defence Force apprentices and trainees.

As a TAFE Teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your extensive industry knowledge and experience with students, using a variety of delivery methods including classroom and workshop settings. You will also enjoy the satisfaction of giving students from diverse backgrounds the skills they need to succeed in their future careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver theory and practical training within the Electrical & Electronics Systems Wing (EESW)
  • Establish and maintain a collaborative learning environment, encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning
  • Mentor students throughout their learning journey, both within the classroom and in the field
Requirements
  • A Certificate III or Trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or Equivalent or
  • A Certificate III or Trade qualification in Electrical, or Electrical Fitting or
  • A Certificate III or Trade qualification in Electronics & Communications

Note: Refrigeration Trade Applicants must hold the appropriate ARC RHL licence. Electrical Trade Applicants must hold the appropriate electrical license in the relevant trade classification.

Desirable: Current qualification in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or willingness to undertake.
