About the Role

We are seeking an experienced retail sales assistant to join our team at Australian Red Cross. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales and reaching targets, increasing donations, and volunteer applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales through POS/cash register/eftpos accurately and in line with retail policy
  • Maintain visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
  • Support the Shop Manager in driving sales and reaching targets
  • Build relationships and provide exceptional customer service

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a face-to-face customer service, retail, or sales position with exceptional customer engagement skills
  • Previous cash handling skills and stock rotation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Proven reliability and punctuality with a positive can-do attitude
