Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team as a Prequalification Expert. This role involves providing exceptional support to Avetta customers, assisting in the development and maintenance of a world-class prequalification system.

About the Role

This is an entry-level/early career position that requires excellent communication skills, both written and orally. The successful candidate will be able to actively listen, think critically, and provide solutions to customer issues. The role is based in Sydney or Newcastle, with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote work. Qualified candidates who reside within commutable distance of these locations will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional support to Avetta customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Research, clarify, and resolve customer issues, providing solutions and alternatives where necessary.
  • Interact directly with customers through telephone, email, and chat, prioritizing and resolving their needs promptly.
  • Accurately verify details on regulatory documents and record interactions in Service Cloud (SFDC).
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including attending training, meetings, or seminars.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and orally.
  • Ability to actively listen and think critically.
  • Working PC knowledge, with proficiency in Windows and related applications (IT industry an advantage).
  • An affinity for learning online software systems.
  • Interpersonal skills, problem analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, adaptability, and self-motivation.
