Soldier On is a leading national charity dedicated to empowering veterans and their families. As a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will lead our committed team to deliver impactful outcomes for veterans and their families.
About the RoleAs a strategic, outcome-focused leader, you will champion Soldier On's mission, overseeing daily operations, driving the organisational strategic plan, and strengthening relationships with government, corporate partners, and community stakeholders.
- Demonstrate leadership expertise in steering an organisation towards success;
- Secure sustainable, long-term income streams to support Soldier On's objectives;
- Foster strategic partnerships and raise awareness of veterans' needs across government, community, and industry;
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of a respected charity that makes a real difference in people's lives. You will be responsible for:
- Upholding Soldier On's reputation as a leading national not-for-profit ESO in fundraising, business development, and brand recognition;
- Driving financial growth and sustainability to support the organisation's future direction;
- Leading and inspiring a professional service delivery team;
- Overseeing the development and execution of the 5-year strategic plan;
- Representing Soldier On across government, community, industry, sponsors, and potential benefactors.
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- High-level leadership and representational skills;
- Strong professional and personal integrity;
- A community-focused approach with a track record of service delivery;
- Experience managing large or complex operations, ideally within the ESO sector;
- Confidence, adaptability, and the ability to inspire and influence those around you.
We offer a competitive salary of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, plus benefits including flexible working arrangements, ongoing professional development, and a collaborative and inclusive culture.
