We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Canberra, Australia. As a key member of the Commonwealth Government's financial system, you will play a crucial role in regulating company and financial services.
The Role OverviewThis is a 6-month labour hire contract that offers the chance to improve the maturity of the procurement, legal, and technology functions. You will work closely with our team to propel efficient, visible procurement and contract management.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver contract management and procurement solutions with technology managers and senior leaders
- Provide advice and guidance on procurement and contract management strategy
- Assess and report on procurement and probity risks
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and drive project delivery within tight timeframes
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in managing end-to-end ICT procurements in a Commonwealth Government environment, including an active Baseline security clearance. You should also have experience using Government Panels and a proven track record in interpreting and applying the Commonwealth Procurement Rules framework.
