As an Acrobatics and Tumbling Instructor, you will have the opportunity to create a supportive environment for students to develop their skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced teacher who is passionate about helping students improve their skills while creating a fun and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach tumbling classes to students of varying skill levels
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual student needs
  • Maintain a safe and supportive class environment
  • Assist in injury prevention and management
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

Our program focuses on teaching fundamental tumbling techniques for recreational students and advanced skills for competitive dancers. Students will progress through our curriculum, mastering new skills and techniques each year.

Skills Curriculum:
  • Level 1: Forward Roll, Penche Roll, Straddle Roll, Chin Stand, Elbow Stand, Elbow Cartwheel, L Stand, Handstand, Cartwheel (Left and Right), Roundoff, Front Limber, Backbend Kickover
  • Level 2: All of the above + Dive Roll, Handstand Roll, Dive Cartwheel, Aerial, Front and Back walkover, Valdez, Front Handspring, Headspring, Back Handspring Progressions
  • Level 3: All of the above + Dive Walkover, Aerial Variations (standing, turning, swish, tilt), Back Handspring, Back Step Out, Roundoff Back Handspring, Round of Double Back Handspring, Standing Tuck off airtrack, Roundoff Back Tuck
  • Level 4: All of the above + Standing Tuck on floor, Cartwheel Back Tuck, Round off Back Layout, Round off Layout Stepout, Front Aerial, 540
