Job Title: Community Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Sydney, NSW. As a Community Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment and intervention to clients with communication and swallowing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment and intervention to clients with communication and swallowing difficulties
  • Train carers in communicating effectively with clients, and work assistants/professionals to deliver effective therapeutic outcomes
  • Develop augmentative and alternative communication systems tailored to individual clients' needs
  • Develop swallowing intervention and mealtime plans and train carers on effective mealtime management support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
  • Certified Practicing SPA membership
  • Knowledge of functional communication and swallowing assessments, interventions, and outcome measures
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Current driver's license and registered vehicle
  • Other qualification specific to disability will be highly regarded
