**Senior Environmental Planner Opportunity**

This is an exceptional chance for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Environmental Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering environmental approvals for major projects, leading collaboration between environmental inputs and town planning partners, overseeing strategy, reporting, and client engagement, mentoring graduates, and participating in both design and construction phases of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Manage and deliver environmental approvals for various major projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  2. Collaboration: Lead collaboration between environmental inputs and town planning partners to achieve project goals.
  3. Strategy and Reporting: Oversee strategy, reporting, and client engagement to maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  4. Talent Development: Mentor graduates and ensure quality delivery while maintaining client relationships.
  5. Design and Construction: Participate in both design and construction phases of projects, providing expert advice and guidance.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years in Environmental or Town Planning, with strong approvals experience essential
  • Good understanding of QLD Planning Act and Local Government approvals
  • Experience managing projects and liaising with clients and councils
  • Either a Town Planner with environmental expertise or an Environmental Scientist focused on planning
