Key Responsibilities- Cost Management: Undertake cost tracking of plant section, maintenance, and operation to ensure work remains within the budget.
- Financial Reporting: Review and ensure accuracy of cost accruals, monthly forecast cost to completion for direct job costs, and provide concise and timely contributions to weekly and monthly reports.
- Technical Specification: Oversee the technical specification of equipment and installation drawings.
- Project Planning: Monitor and ensure project planning and related deliverables are completed within schedule and budget.
- Site Support: Assist project sites by providing technical advice and scheduling/monitoring plant repairs as required, ensuring they are completed in accordance with the relevant standards.
- Plant Maintenance: Manage Plant maintenance schedules and ensure compliance.
- Documentation: Manage compliance of documentation uploaded on MEX.
- Team Leadership: Leading, managing, and supporting other Engineers.
- Culture Promotion: Promote a positive culture regarding HSE, Environmental Management, Sustainability, People, Community, and Quality.
- Qualifications: Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Proven experience working on Tier 1 projects.
- Background: 6+ years' experience in Mining or Tunnelling.
- Management: Experience managing direct workforce and subcontractors in the delivery of work plans and scope.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team.
- Leadership: Ability to lead a 'One Team' culture ensuring site teams cooperate well with each other and integrate effectively with the wider project teams.
