About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at the Royal Automobile Association of South Australia (RAA). As a key member of our Road Service team, you will be responsible for responding to road service calls, loading, transporting, and unloading vehicles across the Adelaide Metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use safe towing practices to recover and transport vehicles in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide exceptional service and prompt solutions to our members with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Proactively manage tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate effectively with operational staff to expedite service delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry skills to offer the best solutions.
  • Build strong professional relationships, embodying RAA corporate values and ethics.
About You

We are looking for a diligent, reliable, and self-motivated individual who is able to work within a team environment. Successful candidates must possess a strong work ethic and commitment to workplace health and safety. You should be passionate about helping our community and want to make a difference.

Requirements
  • Hold a current South Australian Medium or Heavy Rigid truck licence.
  • Flexibility to work on a roster over a 6-day week (including public holidays) – for shifts between 6:00am – 10:00pm.
  • Current South Australian unencumbered 'C-class' driver's licence.
  • Eligible to obtain a South Australian Tow Operators Certificate.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders.
  • Outstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be an innovative thinker with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
