About the Role

We are seeking an experienced operational leader to join our team as an Operations and Linehaul Supervisor in Kalgoorlie. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our train crew team, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight across our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of train crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong leadership and safety background, with experience in operational management and team leadership. You will be passionate about driving positive change and be not afraid to challenge the status quo. Prior rail experience is not essential, but previous leadership in logistics or heavy industry is preferable.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also have a strong focus on safety, with experience in implementing and maintaining safety management systems.
