The Opportunity

Ashurst's national market-leading Corporate Transactions and M&A team advises a wide range of public and private clients on complex and high-profile matters involving M&A, IPOs, joint venture agreements, capital raisings, shareholder agreements, and restructures across various sectors, including energy, mining, and infrastructure.

We are seeking an ambitious, driven, and committed mid-level or senior practitioner to join our growing practice. This opportunity represents an outstanding chance for a team-player with strong technical skills and commercial acumen to join our well-established and highly regarded team.

About You
  • Minimum 5+ years' commercial experience gained within a top-tier firm;
  • Strong experience in M&A transactions, joint venture agreements, capital raisings, and shareholder agreements;
  • Excellent technical and drafting skills coupled with commercial nous;
  • Experience in the energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors desired but not essential;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to their development and growth;
  • Proactive, committed, and ambitious.
