The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team in Dandenong, reporting to the Field Service Supervisor.

As a key member of our team, you'll provide diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services to our customers' equipment, ensuring their operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite technical support, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of Hitachi equipment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with our customers.
  • Ensure your work sites are tidy and all paperwork is up-to-date, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Conduct your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures, upholding our company's values.

Requirements

  • Minimum Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
  • Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanic, with OEM equipment experience highly regarded.
  • Current driver's license, with the ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and customer service etiquette, with an uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures.
