Estimated Salary: AU$140,000 - AU$180,000 per yearJob DescriptionMain Responsibilities:
  • Lead Commissioning Activities: Supervise on-site commissioning activities for central control systems (CCS) and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Interface Design: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate interfaces properly for testing phases.
  • Verification & Validation Plans: Develop, implement, and oversee V&V plans, schedules, and strategies for CCS.
  • Partner Coordination: Work closely with interface partners to confirm system readiness, availability, and compatibility.
  • On-Site Testing: Lead on-site testing and commissioning activities, including team supervision and technical problem resolution.
  • Report Preparation: Collect, review, and organize test results from on-site and off-site activities, preparing comprehensive test reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of experience in rail systems, specifically 3-4 years focused on Testing and Commissioning of CCS or COM systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Rail Operation Control Centres (OCC), central SCADA systems for rail, and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and configuration management.
  • Proven ability to lead site teams, manage site activities, and plan high-quality deployments in dynamic environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at coordinating with multi-national teams and working under pressure.
  • Experience in fast-paced, multi-country project environments with a focus on meeting stakeholder expectations.
