Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead the engineering aspects of our $70 million education project located on the lower Northern Beaches. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing engineering activities to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Engineering Management: Oversee and manage all engineering aspects of the project, including ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Documentation Control: Establish and manage organised documentation control systems, including contracts, correspondences, and project records.
  • Contractual Claims: Assist in the preparation and evaluation of contractual claims and variations.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate regular reports on project financials, highlighting key performance indicators and potential risks.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure contractual obligations are met.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer on projects ranging between $30 million and $100 million.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Career History: 5+ years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Audit: Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.
