We're seeking a Business Development Professional to join our team, providing valuable support to account managers and rural branch managers in developing new business, managing existing client accounts, and helping our clients achieve their goals.

About the Role

As a successful Business Development Professional, you'll bring a passion for food and agribusiness, previous experience in a similar role, and a strong focus on client relationships. You'll be an articulate communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, as well as analytical skills with sound agribusiness financial literacy.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare loan applications and interpret branch prudential management tasks.
  • Monitor loan arrears and accounts in excess, taking appropriate action from a commercial and prudential perspective.
  • Develop and foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and client advisors.

You will work closely with your team to provide exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, and drive business growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as finance, accounting, or business.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the agriculture industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
