Job Overview
  • Create and maintain accurate financial statements and reports, adhering to relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, and grants.
  • Publish monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
  • Evaluate tax laws and other regulatory requirements, including tax return preparation and submission.
  • Support audit processes and collaborate with auditors for a smooth audit cycle.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and program directors.
The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

  • Immediate availability or short notice readiness.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA certification.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in the Not For Profit sector is advantageous.
  • Technology One experience is highly valued.
