Job Description

The Area Manager plays a vital role in supporting Centre Directors to ensure quality educational programs and service provision. This position requires an experienced professional who can work closely with Centre Directors, implement systems and operational processes, and provide mentoring and guidance to centre leaders and staff.

This person will play a key role in the effective day-to-day management of each centre by working closely with Centre Directors to implement systems and operational processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to Centre Directors to ensure quality educational programs and service provision.
  • Working closely with Centre Directors to develop and implement operational strategies for the centres.
  • Providing mentoring and guidance to centre leaders and all staff to promote a high level of understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the delivery of engaging, creative, and environmentally friendly programs for children.
  • Building and maintaining open and supportive communication with staff, children, and families at each centre.
  • Ensuring each centre operates according to company policies and procedures, legislative requirements, and the National Quality Framework.
  • Maintaining and developing positive relationships and effective communication with various external agencies.
  • Managing each centre's budget and expenditure within budget guidelines.
  • Mentoring managers and staff to achieve their own professional goals and high levels of performance.
  • Managing internal and external reporting requirements efficiently.
  • Identifying and embracing opportunities to continuously support services through professional development.
