About the Role
  • The Senior Technical Consultant develops and delivers exceptional ServiceNow projects and services across Asia-Pacific, collaborating with cross-functional teams and prioritizing business needs.
  • This position is based in Canberra and requires Australian Citizenship and Baseline/NV1 security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and configure the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams to address business needs and explore out-of-the-box capabilities before custom builds.
  • Conduct code reviews, quality control, and debugging to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Develop scoped applications, workflows, and UI elements for custom solutions and enhancements.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to support platform growth and development.
  • Conduct demonstrations and presentations of ServiceNow solutions to business teams and stakeholders.
  • Produce and execute test cases to maintain software quality.
  • Document code and application functionality, including drafting Functional Design Specifications.
  • Stay updated on emerging ServiceNow trends and technologies.
  • Transfer knowledge to team members on ServiceNow administration and development.
Requirements and ExperienceMust Have
  • A degree in IT or a related field.
  • ServiceNow certifications: CSA; CIS ITSM and 1+ additional CIS certification; ServiceNow Suite Certified (e.g., ITSM, HR, or CSM).
  • Proven experience delivering high-quality ServiceNow solutions and development.
  • Ability to create build documentation, solution designs, and detailed design specifications.
  • Strong workshop facilitation skills and experience delivering multiple ServiceNow product line projects.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications.
  • 5+ years of successful ServiceNow project delivery.
  • A general understanding of ServiceNow licensing.
