Quantum Research Scientist

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative researcher to join our cutting-edge project focused on engineering and characterizing new quantum emitters.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments, as well as advancing automation and reproducibility in deterministic spin-photon interfaces and electric field sensing.
- They will also contribute to student supervision and experimental design, while evaluating novel spin defects against existing platforms.
Your Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineer and characterize new quantum emitters using confocal microscopy and cryogenic spectroscopy techniques.
- Perform spin and sensing measurements to advance the understanding of quantum science.
- Develop and implement advanced automation and reproducibility protocols in deterministic spin-photon interfaces and electric field sensing.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in experimental quantum science, including expertise in nanofabrication and lithography. Additionally, experience with optical cavities, resonators, or dielectric metasurfaces is highly desirable.

- PhD in physics, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications demonstrating high-quality research skills.
