We are seeking an experienced and passionate OSHC Service Coordinator to lead our team at Clyde Creek Primary School.
Job OverviewThis is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive community of educators, providing quality before and after school care and Holiday Programs for children. As a Lead OSHC Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading your own service, mentoring a team of educators, and creating engaging programs that cater to the needs of local families.
Key Responsibilities- Lead your own OSHC service and support local families by providing high-quality care and programs.
- Create engaging programs using industry-leading tools, promoting child development and well-being.
- Build positive relationships with the school community, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
- Mentor and develop your team of educators, promoting their skills and growth within the industry.
- Roster staff efficiently, ensuring adequate coverage and flexibility.
- Manage compliance documents, administrative tasks, and maintain accurate records.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A passion for making a difference in children's lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Previous experience in the childcare or OSHC industry (although not essential).
- A recognized qualification in Teaching, Childcare, or Community Services, such as ACECQA approved qualifications.
- An Employee Working with Children's Check valid in the relevant state.
- Willingsness to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting and a National Criminal History Check.
