Job Description

Teaching Biology, Science and Maths to Students.

St Margaret Mary's College is seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to join their vibrant school community. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching biology, science and maths to students in Years 7 to 12.

The college offers a wide variety of subjects and vocational programs, as well as extracurricular activities, commitment to students with special needs and service opportunities for students.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of curriculum initiatives and be able to provide effective communication and collaboration with students, parents and staff.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve student outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with curriculum initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualifications:

  • Relevant teaching qualification or currently working towards one.

  • Strong knowledge of curriculum initiatives.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Competitive Salary:

$73,629 - $106,045 pending experience.
