Job Opportunity

The role of Human Resources Advisor is to provide comprehensive support and coordination in delivering a wide range of HR services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including position description development, paperwork, and approvals; develop advertisements, assist with candidate interviews as required, and complete the credentialing process.
  • Manage email address for HR inquiries.
  • Onboarding: Ensure that the employee on-boarding experience of new employees is adhered to and employees are inducted and oriented appropriately.
  • Support to Managers and Staff: Assist all employees on employment-related matters, including leave management and interpretations of employment agreements, awards, agreements, and conditions of employment.
  • Provide advice in employee relations and performance management matters.
  • Contract and Data Management: Manage the contracting process for the workforce. Support the establishment and implementation of an electronic HR Information System for workforce data. Maintain accurate and timely HR records, including documentation of all HR issues. Accurate collation of data for HR metrics and reporting.
  • Offboarding: Manage exit processes for employees (including liaison with payroll and IT, exit interviews, and required notice periods). Ensure allocation of assets are recorded and updated within personnel files via asset register, and returns process is completed before termination payments are processed by payroll.
  • Other Duties: Contribute to the development and review of HR Policies and Procedures. Demonstrate constructive working relationships and information exchange within the team and across the organization. Support the broader HR team as required, including leave coverage, workload support, and project initiatives.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Management, or related discipline.
  • Experience in HR-based role for 2-3 years.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply enterprise agreements and/or other industrial agreements.
  • Understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Professional with strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused approach.
  • Able to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Able to show initiative in team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Understanding of and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in HR and IT industry.
  • Working in MSP would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of basic IT-based job roles.
