Therapy Support Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to assist our therapy team in providing quality care services to residents.

About The Job

  • Collaborate with physiotherapists to design and deliver mobility programs for residents.
  • Work closely with occupational therapists to create recreational and therapeutic activity programs for residents.
  • Participate in the planning and organisation of therapy sessions.
  • Assist in delivering therapy-based activities as directed by the therapy team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records as per relevant guidelines.
  • Accompany residents on outings and community visits.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or higher/equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in a similar support role preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and guide staff to deliver high-quality care and therapy activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A compassionate approach when interacting with elderly residents.
  • Full Australian working rights and ability to pass a national police clearance.
