Clinical Specialist

Clinical specialists are sought to join a multidisciplinary team, providing mental health services to young people aged 15-25 and their families/carers in Melbourne's northwest and western suburbs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of this new and growing service by participating in collaborative projects and initiatives.
- Provide strategic clinical leadership and support to members of the multidisciplinary team and clinicians across the service, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Function autonomously, carry a caseload of clients, participate in clinical review meetings, and practice according to the philosophy and protocols of the service.
- Design and deliver training packages for eating disorders across primary, secondary, and tertiary care settings.
About You
- Registration and qualifications in a relevant area of practice.
- A minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in clinical practice within the mental health field, including young people experiencing eating disorders.
- Experience and expertise in providing acute mental health care management and eating disorder management.
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to adapt to the changing needs of an evolving service.
