Job Description:

The primary function of a seasoned Security Specialist involves establishing and maintaining a proactive Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality (HSSEQ) framework. This role necessitates developing and implementing comprehensive security management systems, conducting thorough risk assessments, and providing expert guidance.

  • Designing and implementing effective security management frameworks
  • Conducting regular audits and risk/threat evaluations
  • Serving as a trusted point of contact for stakeholders
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks

This position requires an accomplished safety and security professional with extensive operational experience in high-threat environments and robust governance expertise.

Requirements:
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Current Australian Government Security Clearance or willingness to obtain one
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and negotiation skills

Demonstrated proficiency in DSPF, DISP, and PSPF is essential, along with a Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management. Relevant state/territory security licence and Defence Security Officer Course are also mandatory.
