About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice in Horticulture at Green by Nature. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our green spaces, while also gaining valuable skills and knowledge in the field of horticulture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance our green spaces, including parks, gardens, and public areas.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of landscaping and horticulture projects.
  • Develop and implement effective plant care and maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with our experienced team to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
What You'll Learn
  • Plant care and maintenance techniques.
  • Plant nutrition programs and soil management.
  • Pest and disease management strategies.
  • Irrigation systems installation and maintenance.
  • Specialized transplanting, pruning, and mowing operations.
  • Safety protocols and equipment operation.
Requirements
  • No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Valid Working With Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain one).
  • Valid White Card (or be willing to obtain one).
