Swim Instructor

Lithgow City Council is seeking qualified Casual Learn to Swim Instructors to join their team at the JM Robson Aquatic Centre in Lithgow, NSW.

The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver high-quality instruction and safe swimming lessons in a safe, fun, and effective manner. To have a complete knowledge and understanding of all aspects of teaching swimming, water safety, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants in classes at all times.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A current Austswim Certificate – Teaching of swimming and Water Safety
• A current Austswim Certificate – Teacher of infants and Aquatics
• A current CPR Certificate
• A current Senior First Aid Certificate
• A current Working with Children Check (if over 18)
• Demonstrated commitment to the principles of honesty and integrity
• Commitment to Work Health and Safety

In return for your hard work and dedication, Lithgow City Council is offering a casual rate of $37.21 per hour, depending on applicants' age and experience.
