We are seeking a highly skilled Urban Forestry Specialist to join our team in Stonnington. As an essential member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of tree maintenance and replacement works.

About the Role

Our Urban Forestry Specialists work closely with local councils and government agencies to deliver scheduled maintenance and reactive requests for trees and parklands. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing detailed condition audits, pruning, tree removal, and stump removal
  • Ensuring work areas are safe and adhering to industry standards
  • Operating heavy equipment such as trailer-mounted machines, light trucks, and tip-trucks in a safe and professional manner

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong interest in tree management and maintenance, excellent work ethic, and a positive attitude. Additionally, you should possess the ability to work safely and promote safety in the workplace, as well as experience dealing with customers, clients, and members of the general public.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Arboriculture (desirable)
  • Current MR licence
  • Chainsaw Licence
  • Certificate II ESI
  • Tree climbing experience and qualifications (desirable)
