Accounting and Reporting Professional

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Accounting and Reporting Professional to join our team at Mastermyne, a leading mining services company based in Mackay or Newcastle. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing management accounting support to the business and gaining exposure to a broad range of functions including project reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling and report development, management reporting, and business partnering with management teams.
Key Responsibilities- Providing timely and accurate financial reports and analysis to support business decision-making
- Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts to support business planning and strategy
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business improvement initiatives and optimize commercial outcomes

Your BackgroundTo be successful in this role, you will possess strong communication and analytical skills coupled with a desire to learn and grow within our business. You will have experience working for a contracting business, data extraction and reporting from an ERP system, preferably from within a labour intensive/services industry, advanced Excel skills, strong relationship management skills, and strong commercial management skills. Ideally, you will have a completed Bachelor degree and have completed your CA/CPA studies complemented by a minimum of four to five years post qualification experience.
