About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Cleanaway Waste Management. As a Heavy Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting waste to designated facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload commercial and industrial waste, material, or consignment from our vehicles.
  • Delivery and Transportation: Transport loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the presentation of our vehicles, both inside and out, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Compliance and Safety: Comply with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations, and training to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • HR Licence: Possess a valid HR Licence to operate heavy vehicles.
  • Physical Fitness: Be physically fit and comfortable pushing and pulling heavy bins.
  • Availability: Have flexible availability to meet the demands of the role.
  • Zero Harm Safety Mindset: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and a zero-harm mindset.
  • Good Attitude and Reliability: Possess a good attitude, be reliable, and willing to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Pre-Employment Medical: Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.
