We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Secondary Learning and Curriculum Development. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in shaping the educational outcomes of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of high-quality curriculum frameworks and resources to support effective teaching and learning in our secondary schools.
- Design and deliver professional learning programs for teachers, focusing on evidence-based instructional practices.
- Collaborate with school leaders to ensure consistency and excellence in the delivery of learning and teaching.
- Work with Heads of Performance to implement strategies that improve student outcomes.
- Ensure the accessibility of evidence-based resources for teachers and lead educational initiatives that enhance student engagement and overall learning experience.
- Capacity and desire to contribute to the ethos and strategic intent of Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese.
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge of pedagogy and contemporary educational practice.
- Highly developed capacity to effectively lead a team and to promote professional growth and school improvement.
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
- Current NSW Teacher Accreditation.
- Ideal 10+ years of teaching and/or 5+ years of Educational Leadership experience.
- Current Working With Children Clearance.
