As a Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Corporate Finance Unit and contributing to the financial strength and service excellence of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and relevant legislation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the Corporate Finance Unit, overseeing staff development, performance management, and fostering a positive team culture that promotes collaboration and innovation.
  • Oversee capitalization, asset accounting, and develop and review the Long-Term Asset Management Plan, aligning with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Provide expert taxation advice and ensure accurate compliance and lodgement of tax returns, minimizing risk and maximizing benefits.
  • Support treasury management, balancing debt and investment portfolios, and forecasting cash flows to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Build effective internal partnerships and deliver tailored financial insights that support informed decision-making, driving business growth and success.
Selection Criteria
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, corporate taxation, treasury, and asset management, with a focus on industry best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven leadership in team development, service delivery, and performance improvement, with a track record of achieving results-driven outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in statutory reporting and asset accounting within complex organizations, with a deep understanding of financial systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate complex financial information effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools relevant to medium-to-large or government organizations, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
