Job Overview

At Procore Technologies, we are seeking an experienced Construction Financial Strategist to join our team. This role will be based in Sydney and is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to grow with our company.

About the Role

This position involves collaborating closely with sales teams, customer engineers, product specialists, and marketing professionals to develop and execute strategies that drive customer adoption of our financial management products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction technology and software platforms, as well as excellent consultative and communication skills.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Serving as a subject matter expert for financial management cross-sell opportunities within our existing enterprise customer base.
  2. Partnering with account managers and customer success engineers to drive product adoption and churn mitigation initiatives.
  3. Providing regular updates to customers on product capabilities, benefits, and use cases.
  4. Pursuing and increasing knowledge of key competitors to ensure our value proposition is effectively communicated to customers.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful software sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology.
  • A proven track record of success in inside sales and/or outside sales-based selling models.
  • The capacity to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships and communicate effectively via telephone and email with customers.
  • Experience selling technical products, construction products, financial, or fintech products highly preferred.
  • Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage pipeline and forecasting.


Salary

We offer a competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive a range of benefits and perks designed to support your career growth and overall well-being.
