Are you a motivated and detail-oriented professional seeking to make a meaningful impact in the world of quality assurance?

We are currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Officer to join our team.

This role involves coordinating all activities associated with the implementation and maintenance of our Quality Management System, including procedures and document creation/revision, internal quality audits, and management of customer concerns and corresponding corrective/preventive actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume the role of Administrator of our Enterprise Quality Management Software.
  • Promote our Quality Policy and measure quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
  • Conduct investigations / internal audits and root cause analyses of Quality incidents and ensure appropriate corrective/preventive actions are taken. Lead a team of quality auditors when needed.
  • Prepare reports and maintain documentation of audit results and review at periodic intervals to track the progress after the audit.
  • Assist in the implementation of new Quality Tools.
  • Track monthly metrics generated from our Quality Management System and metrics collated from the different QA/QC teams.
  • Monitor and advise on the performance/effectiveness of our Quality Management System and produce data and report on performance, measuring against set indicators.
Requirements:
  • A College or University degree in a Science or related program.
  • Good knowledge of continuous improvement and Quality Management Systems and Internal Audit in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven teambuilding and leadership skills and able to work with operations, technical, sales and management staff.
  • Willing to travel and work in plant environment.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills, and attention to detail; must be able to manage multiple tasks with the ability to work independently and to meet deadlines.
