Occupational Therapy Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be a vital part of supporting rehabilitation and return to work outcomes in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

  • You will manage case loads with the support of Rehabilitation Assistants, applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes.
  • You will develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs for employers and employees.
  • You will collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • You will conduct comprehensive assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
About You:
  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy is essential.
  • Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to apply is required.
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded but not necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, compassion, kindness, and empathy are crucial for this role.
  • Well-developed time management skills and a current valid Driver's License with access to own car and comprehensive insurance are also required.
