About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Prysmian Australia Pty Ltd. in Liverpool. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of plant and machinery in designated areas, while considering costs and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Certification in Mechanical Engineering (Cert III in Engineering)
  • Forklift License
  • Experience in an industrial environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven safe work practices and commitment to safety
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
