Land Rig Crews Job Description

Savanna is a leading oil and gas service provider offering drilling and well servicing rigs. Our Australian headquarters is based out of Toowoomba, Queensland.

We are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our growing land rig teams in various roles, including leasehands, floorhands, motorhands, derrickhands, assistant drillers, and drillers.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude towards safety, the ability to work outdoors in remote locations, physical strength and stamina, and excellent communication skills.

Key requirements include:

  • A valid open and manual full C (Car) Class driver's licence
  • Industry Safety Induction or DCGI with current industry experience
  • First response to fire incidents, first aid (including CPR), and other relevant certifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Certificate II in Oil/Gas Drilling Operations for floorhand and motorhand roles
  • Certificate III in Oil/Gas Drilling Operations for derrickhand role
  • Certificate IV in Oil/Gas Drilling Operations for driller role
