Tax Professional Role

As a skilled professional in tax, you will work closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing financial information for Company/Trust/AMIT income tax and FBT returns in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Providing training to finance staff on preparing data for income tax/FBT returns.
  • Conducting research on direct and indirect tax issues and delivering expert advice to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the team to design and implement new tax processes, including automation.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of the Group's tax fixed asset registers.
  • Maintaining accurate records of the Group's CGT registers.
  • Supporting responses to requests from revenue authorities.

Requirements for Success

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • 1-2 years' experience providing tax compliance and advisory services in a Big 4/Mid-Tier accounting firm or ASX-listed group.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across business units.
  • Strong data analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to provide accurate and commercial tax advice.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Progress towards CA/CPA qualification.
