Childcare Coordinator Position with Salary Packaging and Benefits

CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is seeking a dedicated Childcare Coordinator to join their team.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering job security and career development prospects. The successful candidate will be responsible for running a well-established Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program located on the grounds of St Martins Davidson Primary School.

The OSHC program operates from 7:00am to 9:00am in the mornings and from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in the afternoons, Monday to Friday during term time. During school holidays and pupil-free days, the service runs a Vacation Care program from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the OSHC program to meet the needs of school-age children and adhere to the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework.
  • Maintain compliance with the National Quality Standards and Education and Care Services National Regulations as the Nominated Supervisor.
  • Foster positive relationships with schools, families, and employees while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
Requirements
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • CHCPRT025 'Identify & report children and young people at risk' certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Current First Aid certification, CPR certification, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification or willingness to obtain.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
  • Diploma or Certificate IV in OSHC.
  • Experience working in outside school hours care.
  • Skills and experience in team leadership.
  • Knowledge of regulations relevant to Outside School Hours Care and the National Quality Framework.
